HARI Smart Play - Preening Block will provide companion parrots with hours of enrichment and entertainment. They untie, preen, and chew the multi-coloured sisal ropes and knots. Preening is an important part of a parrot’s daily routine. Preening toys are exceptionally important to birds that are housed alone as they can help deter feather damaging behaviours. Sisal allows your parrot to reproduce feather preening behavior. It can help prevent feather picking. The base is made from solid pinewood painted with non-toxic bird-safe vegetable dye and the bird toy is easily installed/hung with the included lead & zinc free, nickel plated quick link and chain.
