Prevue Pet Calypso Creations
Give your bird a perch that's also a puzzle with the Prevue Pet Calypso Creations Hide & Seek Foraging Bird Perch. A 9-inch bamboo perch pre-stuffed with sea grass and colourful paper that birds love to pull, pick, and shred apart, then refill with your own treats and nesting materials for endless foraging fun.
Most perches just sit there. The Hide & Seek perch gives your bird a job. Made from rugged, hardy, eco-friendly bamboo, an ultra hardwood prized for long-lasting durability. This perch arrives stuffed with bird-safe fibres and paper that encourage natural foraging behaviour. Your bird picks and pulls at the fillables, working to extract the materials just as they would strip bark and vegetation in the wild. And when they've pulled everything out, you simply stuff it again with treats, nesting fibres, or shreddables. It's a perch that never stops giving.
Key Features:
-
Eco-friendly bamboo construction — an ultra hardwood that's durable, naturally textured, and sustainably sourced
-
Pre-stuffed with sea grass and colourful paper — ready to forage right out of the package
-
Refillable design — stuff with treats, fibres, shreddables, or nesting materials for continuous enrichment
-
Tapered diameter (1/2" to 1") — varied thickness exercises foot muscles and promotes healthy foot mechanics, preventing pressure sores from uniform-diameter perches
-
Bolts securely to any cage — sturdy hardware-wing attachment keeps the perch firmly in place
-
Dimensions: 9" L x 1/2"–1" diameter — ideal for small to medium birds
- Natural bamboo colour with multi-coloured fillables
Why you'll love it:
The tapered diameter is a foot-health feature most bird owners overlook. Uniform perches create constant pressure on the same spots, leading to foot problems. The Hide & Seek perch's varying thickness means your bird grips differently along its length, exercising different muscle groups and reducing the risk of bumblefoot and pressure sores. Combine that with the refillable foraging design and you've got a perch that's genuinely multi-functional.
Ideal for: Budgies, cockatiels, lovebirds, parrotlets, small conures, and other small to medium companion birds.
Perch. Forage. Repeat.
