Cuttlebone Mango & Banana 2 Pack
Give your bird a tasty twist on an essential health supplement with the Cuttlebone Mango & Banana 2 Pack with Clip by Penn Plax, a duo of fruit-flavoured cuttlebones that deliver vital calcium and beak conditioning in a format your bird will actually be excited to chew on.
Cuttlebone is one of the most fundamental supplements in companion bird care, a natural source of calcium and trace minerals that supports strong bones, healthy egg production, and proper beak wear. But let's be honest plain cuttlebone isn't always the most exciting thing in the cage. Many birds ignore it entirely, leaving it to gather dust while their calcium needs go unmet. Penn Plax solves that problem brilliantly by infusing natural cuttlebone with irresistible mango and banana flavours, turning an essential supplement into a treat your bird will actively seek out.

Why you'll love it:
The flavour infusion is what makes this cuttlebone genuinely special. Plain cuttlebone is notorious for being ignored, birds peck at it once, decide it's boring, and never touch it again. By adding natural mango and banana flavouring, Penn Plax has created a cuttlebone that birds actually want to chew.
The included cage clip is a thoughtful touch that eliminates one of the most annoying parts of offering cuttlebone, figuring out how to attach it. No more fumbling with twist ties, zip ties, or improvised wire hangers. The clip slides securely onto any standard cage bar and holds the cuttlebone firmly in place, even when your bird gets enthusiastic about gnawing on it.
Calcium is especially critical for breeding hens, growing chicks, and birds on seed-based diets, which are naturally deficient in calcium. The mango and banana flavoured cuttlebone provides a bioavailable, natural calcium source that your bird's body can easily absorb and utilise, supporting skeletal health, feather development, and overall vitality.
Ideal for: Parakeets, cockatiels, lovebirds, conures, Quaker parrots, caiques, Pionus, African Greys, Amazons, Eclectus, macaws, and canaries.
Perfect for:
- Birds who ignore plain cuttlebone
- Supplementing calcium in seed-based diets
- Supporting breeding hens and growing birds
- Beak conditioning and natural wear
- Adding variety and enrichment to the cage
Care Instructions: Replace when the cuttlebone is significantly worn down. Clip securely to cage bars and position away from droppings. Offer fresh cuttlebone regularly to ensure consistent calcium availability.
Essential calcium. Irresistible flavour. Happy bird.
